5. Toyota Prius. Not much to be said here, the gas mileage speaks for itself, couple that with Toyota nameplate and you have a winner, P.s: the new Honda insight does not come close.
4. 1989-1995 FORD TAURUS SHO: This was truly an engineering feat, No turbo chargers here,
a 220 horse powered sleeper, that could smoke most imports on any given Sunday. I had the pleasure of owning one (i know what its capable of). The car was way ahead of its time, i bet this car could still beat half of the cars being built today.
3. BMW 5 series (1995-2003) : If you are looking for a Five series beemer, look no further than this model years, this vehicle won several awards with its six cylinder engine considered to be the best engine ever built!
2. VOLVO 240: What can i say, this car was as true as the swiss watches, they just keep running.
Basically a tank that is still timeless.

PEUGEOT 504 A.K.A The Tank, The Americans love affair with the French was always sour, no surprise this car had no shot in the U.S.A, but pound for pound this car was renowned world wide from winning the safari rally in Africa's desert heat to playing taxi cab, the reliability of this car should never be questioned, PERIOD. No other car maker could come close to the comfort and ride stability in the 70's yes not even Cadillac (and i do love cadi)
